Well, we are one month minus one day away from the New Jersey Historic Lighthouse Tour. There are still hotel rooms available in the area near Egg Harbor (Saturday night stay)
If planning to join the Mustang & Shelby Clubs, we are meeting at the Cheesequake Rest area on the GSP just south of the Raritan River bridges at 8:00 AM. We will then caravan to the first stop at the Sandy Hook Lighthouse.

Super! Just look for my Silver Birch and a whole bunch of Mustangs. The bright yellow 2010 will be the standout eye catcher.

Looks like we will be able to join in for at least Saturday's tour.

Looking forward to seeing some new MVX friends and a few old friends who did not make it this year as well.

One last run before the snow tires go on for the winter.

NJ Historic Lighthouse Tour, Oct 20-21
On the weekend of October 20th & 21st, the NJ Historic Lighthouse Assoc is running their annual lighthouse challenge.
You start at either Sandy Hook, and work your way south to Atlantic City, and then north along the Delaware River up to Camden. My Mustang club does this tour every few years. It is a blast.

You visit a lighthouse, and collect another piece to your puzzle map. If you visit all of the historic lighthouses on the map, you earn a special piece that says you did it all. ~jsignorelli

Just wanted to bump this great weekend event for anyone in the Mid-Atlantic/Northeast region. It's coming up next Saturday and Sunday. You can participate one or both days. We are meeting Jim Signorelli and the Garden State Mustang Club members at the Cheesequake Service Area on the Parkway by 8 am Saturday morning, Oct. 20. Some of us are staying overnight at the Days Inn in Pleasantville/Egg Harbor, NJ. There are a number of hotels in that area to choose from. If you can make it let us know you are coming so we can look for you at the meeting place. If you need my cell # just PM me. Hope to see you there! Should be a beautiful Fall weekend with spectacular photo ops of historic lighthouses, ocean beaches and great cars!

The tour will not be the same without you and Paula, but we will try to make the best of it.

    DANG!

Sorry, I can't make either day.

This sounded like a great weekend or day trip for the family.

    Maybe next year.

    Have a great time!
