The german Wikipedia says there are 3 MM in Germany. Mine was imported in early 2008; the last CarFax entry is from january 2008 and the first registration in Germany was in april 2008.

Edit: I just sent an email to the Federal Office for Motor Vehicles to get an actual amount of MM in Germany. It seems they are just changing the procedure to get access to the database. If i interpret it correctly then i can have free access to the statistics in july.

Finally got my certificate i guess it was a good thing i was delayed from leaving today. The funny thing is a couple years ago I think roy was doing look up by serial number and i showed as #1900, but today when i got the certificate i found out that my car is #1844.

Cars aren't built according to serial number. So you can get 2 different numbers like that. One is the serial sequence and the other the build sequence.

MM's were assembled on the same line as GM's & CV's.
