The best I ran was 14.9 with just a k& n cold air and a slightly smaller tire
Without a gear and convertor it will be difficult forced induction will be needed

    waiting to be blown
You can run all your life but not go anywhere
positive manifold pressure leads to coitus

I got Kooks headers Kooks X-pipe with high flow cats and Borla Pro-XS mufflers. And JLT Cold air kit. A Accufab twin blade Throttle body. That I ordered new that is for a New Edge Mach 1 Mustang. Bolts on to our Mercury Marauder. No modification. I got a 93 octane tune for Mr. Martyo AKA Marty. Stock 355 gears. But before the track open up here In NYC area. I am going to get a converter from Marty. And big oil pan for the 4r70w. Put on a new filter and run royal purple. And royal purple in my rear end. I am leaving it 355. Going to get a set of Sparta Preformance upper and lowers. And the watts link. A set of Nitto Drag radials . And my car is about to hit 10k original miles. I have a serious custom made stereo system. That is heavy. But like my car is right now. I think my car run. In the mid to low 14's. With what I done now in mods. And the killer sweet Marty 93 octane tune. My car is totally a different car from all stock. Not only sounds sweet. It woke up the Cobra Motor. But once I do the rest of the parts. I will be happy with a 13 second pass. Before I get a Vortech Supercharger on her. Then we will see. What it will run. Oh and a good fuel system with a return line .

As info only, it is not a Cobra motor, much closer to a Mach 1 motor. A return fuel system isn't needed unless you plan on horsepower well over 600 rwhp which is close to 700 crank hp. and drag radials wont fit on stock rim width.

Tell me what it took for you to go 13.90s at sea level.
I have no idea - to date, I have been slower. Good stuff sir. I envy the fun you are enjoying.
