    Hello Everyone

Hi. Some of you may know me from CVN. For those that don't, a little over a year ago I picked up a 2003 Marauder.

Back when I worked at a Ford dealer, detailing cars, someone traded in a black 2003 Marauder at the dealership. At the time it 217,660 miles on the clock. (now has around 223k) build date on the tag is 1/03, so it's a mid model year 03 car.
It is one of those odd 300AB package cars. It has the under hood light and the full size spare, but not the center mounted clock or the map pockets in the seats. I was very shocked to find the original window sticker in the glove box! MSRP was $35k when she was new. Its has a Full size spare (i'm so happy about that) and the guy just did an oil change, coolant flush, and trans service before he traded it in. I called BS until I checked all the fluids and he gave me paperwork. The coils and plugs need to be replaced has they were the originals. The sparks plugs had the letter "F" after the part number designating them as factory. The car is missing a bit and has a slight shutter at idle. Did a compression check #8 has a 10% compression loss. So it needs the valve seat replaced, guess he didn't know about the rear coolant mod. The Interior doesn't match the mileage at all. it was well taken care of on the inside. the paint is starting to fade in some areas but that's to be expected. There is no rust on this car, and the under body looks brand new.

I got a Rocking deal on it. 2 year loan with a 5.49% APR. Amazing. Out the door with $300 down I walked way paying $4800. I'm so happy with this car and the purchase. I remember when these came out back in 2002. I was still in high school. thought they were so cool. After owning two Crown Vic's I had to get a Marauder. Dream come true.

The original owner road tripped this car. I found gas receipts from 4 states under the seats.

the car is stock for now. plans for now are getting the valve seat fixed. but if the heads are coming off might as well do some things while i'm at that point. port the heads, cams, valve train, ect. Stainless works Longtubes and exhaust are also on my list. Gears tune, basic stuff. oh and the Coolant Mod so I never have a valve seat problem again.
