    Hi!

Howdy! Long time lurker, joined up a while ago but never got time to post. I've always had a soft spot for panthers, & we've had them for years. Super, super glad to have brought this one home with me!

Only mods are the K&N FIPK & an SCT X4 (brought the shift points a tad higher, but still blahhh). There's that little dead spot around 3500rpm that bothers me, but apparently is normal.

Looking into a fresh motor & blower over the winter; time permitting. That & 4.30's.

I've put almost exactly 10k on it since the day I had it, still grinning ear to ear. It's an absolute riot on the highway.

Absolutely hands down blows the doors in on my old '98 P71 (dearly departed), & my current '04 P71 couldn't keep pace at any rate (and it's plenty healthy).

    I love my luxury barge.

Is it the canned tune that SCT provides or a custom tune from Mo's or Alternative Auto(Lidio)? Give Marty at Mo's a call about the dead spot, he might be able to help.

Unfortunately yes, it's just the canned tune. It did help make things a smidge more lively around town, but the shift scheduling is... awful. That & I really need to do the coolant bypass thingadoodle. Get a bit of a tick when things get hot.

Get in touch with Marty from Mo's. A custom tune from Mo's will fix the shift schedule. He will ask some questions on how you like the shift firmness, etc, and I believe he can send you a tune via e-mail. Mo's Speedshop is a site sponsor
