    Oh JEEZ!

Don't get me started on Terdyota in NASCAR....using 'their' 5.7L pushrod V8 that they've offered in their passenger cars for yearrrrrs.......YEAH!....Right !

They get to pick the best features from every other manufacturer's existing V8 designs.....
and then develop their own V8 design which they have NEVER offered in ANY form in ANY Terdyota passenger car.

    Money talks......
and Terdyota has plenty of that from selling boring 4 cylinder appliances to the lemmings.

I laugh at my brother for his '11 Prius. He used it for ALL highway driving so the Hybrid aspect is a moot point. At 190,000 miles it wouldn't start. Hmmmm.... Right to Toyota for a $1,830 bill. So much for gas savings.

In about 1988 I had a '79 Celica Liftback 5 speed. GREAT CAR!!! Then managed to score an '84 Supra with a 5 speed and sunroof.

I remember Toyota pickup ads that boasted mileages of 300,000 up to a 800,000 miles.

Toyota really does build appliances in three sizes now.

I just wish that them ***holes with Prius's and their coveted "green car" special license plates weren't allowed in the hammer lane! I got stuck behind another clueless asshat in a Prius hogging the lane at 70 today..

To get a tree hugger plate there should be rules about being in a lane that you have NO business in if your really about saving dollars and trees and stuffs.

I get passed all the time by Prius drivers doing 80-85+mph. NJ is 65mph. I do about 70mph or my *****ty mpg's really get *****ty. Where is all the fuel mileage savings coming from in a Prius if your going to wind it out to redline on the highway?

    IIRC....(Charlie can confirm this)
They rescinded the Hybrid Prius exemption to use 'HOV' lanes in our area because so many Hybrid Prius' were clogging the HOV lanes!

BTW: I'm starting work on my own 'Hybrid' .....
It's my old '85 Mustang GT hybridized with a Coyote crate motor and a 6 speed!
I think that I'll call it the 'Tin Can Coyote' because these old 4 eyed Fox bodies are as light as a tin can. (500+ lbs lighter than the current Mustangs...)

The difference between a cactus and a bmw is the cactus has the pricks on the outside.

This is coming from a multiple bmw owner lol.
