I must admit, you are handling the criticism very well
In a public forum when you post a picture of something or an opinion it is unfair to call people who disagree with your taste haters. If you want people who yes you to death become a corporate CEO. If the OP wasn't or was unwilling to accept criticism he shouldn't have posted to begin with. Like you said this OP is handling the negative to his choice of wheels well and in the end it's his car and he can put whatever wheels he wants on it.

You are 100% correct! if you don't have anything positive to say sometimes its best to keep the negative BS comments to yourself.

    Not unfair, just reality.

I too appreciate opinion, it's when it gets down right nasty and disrespectful is when it is bothersome and counter productive.

I agree 100% with this statement. What I object to is the word hate. It is such a strong divisive word and I was taught to use it sparingly. It seems like a word that has lost its base meaning. The word itself IMO is counter-productive as it puts the other side into reaction mode and things escalate into something that is unnecessary. Just my 'flower-power' thought for the day.

I too prefer the stock look but these are pretty cool rims, I bet they would look just as good on a 60's/70s muscle car.

I have to ask as an owner of a black MM do the rims make your DTR faster?

I'm with the group that believe factory wheels look the best, to me they make it a "Marauder". However if the faux bolts were removed I think they will look much better, but with that said they're among the nicest aftermarket wheels I've seen on a Marauder.

Maybe I missed where it got "down right nasty" in this thread. When I responded I actually made an attempt to be as nice as I can about something I didn't think looked anything but cheap and tasteless no matter the cost.

The over overwhelming idea of some websites that someone can't disagree with another's choice has gone too far. It's not counterproductive to state an dissenting opinion. This isn't North Korea.

Hey It is all good. I just posted the pictures of the new wheels on my car. And if some don't like that is fine with me. And those that like it Thanks alot. But I in no way posted the pictures. To start a pi**ing match. So I am happy with the way she looks. And the way she runs. And at the end of the day. That is all that matters to me. So thanks alot and may you all have awesome weekend.

Although those wheels are not my style, I do appreciate the fact that Red Rum has taken immaculate care of his car and is justifiably proud of it. THAT'S what counts.

For the "haters", at least be glad he didn't put 26's on it and lift it until the driveshaft was practically vertical...
