    Boost a pump

How does this vary from the boost-a-pump, or is it the same thing under a different name?

Kind of scary, when thinking of the scale. Response from Jerry Barnes

    RC,

Let me do some checking, when I get a minute. I know Jerry Magnuson and Bob. I will find out what this can do.

    Interesting

That is a nifty product....very different from a boost a pump
The signal going to our fuel pump is PWM (Pulse Width Modulated)
kindof a square wave with longer 12 volt burts as you get into the pedal.
The boost a pump amplifies this signal so the pulse voltage can be set from 12 up to 17 volts
This new product seems to be a bit different, it does not work all the time
(I extrapulated this from their writeup) only when you surpass preset/setable limits of RPM and boost....it then goes to 17 volts..(thats about a 40% boost)

    interesting product for sure.

I'm pretty sure the BAP also only kicks in at a certain point. I only hear mine engage above a certain boost level.

You can hear the pump, over the blower whine?

So there seems to be differences. I'll wait to see what Jerry finds out.
