Good to go there so went back and added some timing and ran 11.2x at 120. Put some more timing in it and ran 10.97 at 123. Decide the timing was good for now and started adjusting the shift points. Ran a best of 10.92 on friday night car weighed in at 4230 with me in it. I pulled a best of 1.50 60'. Got home and went to bed at 1:30am.

Got up at 5am and headed to Cecil. Sherm ran a best of 10.89 at 125 earlier in the day weighing in at 4180. then the heat soak set in and air temps went up and it slowed to 11.09's. It was consistent. Timing is still a little low so there should be some left in it. Think the best sixty on saturday was 1.54. I have 16* timing in it up top now. It was only seeing about 14 at the top of 3rd from high IAT. Last year we where around 18 at top of 3rd.
Nice, 10.89 @ 125 , i still dream about doing that one day. Way to go guys.

3 or 4 Mark 8's and a crown vic showed up later and my buddy came up with his t bird. There was a trailblazer SS and a SRT Jeep

Although first round was a good one between Sherm and a guy I've know for awhile from MIR, Nabil. Sherm got him on the light but just couldn't hold him off at the end Nabil won by .046.
Yeah, where were all the Marauders?
Thanks for coming, I thought it was a great day considering the date change. Next year get ready, we will have it in March when the weather translates to sick Cecil ET's!

Sherm's car was badass. Love that thing. Sorry I never got a chance to cruise over to say hello. Had my 72 year old Dad with me. He had a blast but I didn't want to leave him alone in the pits.

See you next year, but hopefully with more Marauders and other FoMoCo! It was like 85% Chevy's this year, not a true representation of big boy racing!

    It's that time again boys!

NSHS2 will be Saturday, March 30th at Cecil Country Dragway.

    Here is the link: http://nshs.ecirs.org/

I will start a new thread unless Glen beats me to it.

Please don't show up again with ONE Marauder. That was an awful showing. Poor Sherm all by hisself!
