    Let's talk cars.

    Let's talk cars.

Engines. Gears. Wheels. Private Tracks. You know, CARS.

Let's avoid politics, the pseudo-patriotism of buying "American", & economics. If we wanted to read that crap, we'd go to www.crap.com and read it. We're here for cars. So let's talk cars.

Let's also respect others & their cars.

I don't care if its "idiots" with "ugly" Chryslers, "snooty" Euro-drivers, or even the teenagers whipping up some rice in that big muffler.

While we love MMs, we all wish that our local Lincoln-Mercury dealer would have something... anything... to compete with the upcoming 425hp SRT-300. Look at any 10 year old Euro-buggy and it's got better paint than my Maruader... and probably your's too. My almost-fast five-liter Mustang got smoked by an Acura last night (on a real racetrack... well, runway anyhow) that runs 12.2 @ 118 mph.

When we don't respect these "idiots" we become alot less godly ourselves. We don't have to like them. Fortunately, we don't have to drive what they drive... Great thing about America... we can drive whatever we can pay for... but we should be respectful.

Logan has built us a wonderful community. More moderators are stepping up to help. They do this because they like to read about cars.

Gears. Exhaust. Tires. Paint. Private Tracks. Whatever... CARS.

    Let's talk cars.

    thanks,
    Greg

Can't say I totally agree with you chief. I come here to hear what Marauder owners have to say about anything as long as it is in the bounds of good taste. Given users need to try to post in the proper places, i.e. Lounge, Garage, Storyboard and so on, anything is fair game IMO.

That's cool... if we all agreed it would be dull.

I think we should disagree respectfully though; your post offers a different perspective than mine (kudos on the lounge reference, btw), and I found it enjoyable.

    peace,
    Greg

I agree with your comments on respecting others...
That's one of the reasons I developed a distaste for ricers...not the actual import cars themselves, of which I've owned quite a few in the past 15 years... but the slack-jawed moron who prefers to talk hp/liter and stickers and how it's superior to 'dinosaurs' for some reason or another.

Over the years I've come across a lot of folks who love cars and the excitement of the sport/hobby. There are many members of my local F-body club who didn't even flinch when I said I bought a Ford product and have shown great interest in my car, and likewise there are a few Pontiac fans on here. I don't see why the same can't exist between ourselves and Impala SS and (eventually) 300C/Hemi owners. Friendly competition is fun, I'll be the first to admit, but mutual respect takes the whole hobby to the next level of nobility. I'd rather be among the noble educated knights than the smelly moronic barbarians...

    with "ugly" Chryslers,
well, thats just an opinon which people are allowed to have.
who am i to say someone is wrong for liking or not liking a certain look?

isnt this why we have the community disscusion and the lounge?
and can someone move this thread to the lounge since its acutally not about marauders?
