Oh boy, here we go again! I expect this time to be just like the last one. Everybody wants it close to their region but the locals won't step up and work together to make it happen. I witnessed it last time, lots of people said Atlanta, but nobody could/would commit to working to make it happen. Ask the folks that have put it on in the past, it's a lot of work, takes a commitment from a lot of people to pull it off. One or two members won't get it done. And practically nobody is going to commit to it if it's not in a location that is local and convenient for them.
edit: Oh, many thanks to those who have stepped up to make them happen so far!

Why not look and see where the MAJORITY of the Membership is located? If there are only 5 members on the West Coast.... it doesn't make much sense to have the meet there. It needs to be "near" the majority.
The Indiana / Illinois / Kentucky corner is kind of "Centrally Located". KillJoy
