Rt 29 & Rt 198...although that big parking lot is going to be fenced off and closed soon.
The shopping center is going to be rebuilt.
They are supposed to be aquiring the rights to use a big parking lot right across Route 29 (on the east side of Route 29).
The Donut-Church cruise will live on!
Tom Doan might have more information about the new parking lot.

You guys should come out to Glen Burnie on Saturday nights. Another forum I am on holds a meet there that I started about a year ago. We meet up around 9-10pm at the Big K parking lot by the Jumpers Hole Rd and Ritchie Hwy (Rt 2.) intersection. I haven't been there for a while but went last night and a good 100 or more cars were there. As normal there are the stupid kids doing stupid things but my group parks in a corner away from it. A friend of mine brought out his R32 Skyline that has a Toyota Supra turbo engine in it and everyone just had to come over and swarm the car.

We hold the meet later at night because a lot of our people get off of work in the evening but the meet usually goes well into the morning hours if a cop doesn't kick us out but then my small group just goes to the local diner for food and comes back an hour or so later when the riff raff is gone and local cops don't bother us since they know us pretty good.

Chris, Do you ever check out the Muscle Car cruise in front of Marley Station mall on Saturdays nights?
It starts earlier...@ 5:00 pm and has tons of neat Detroit iron.
Only thing is we can't park our Marauders in the 'cruise lot' because it is sponsored by the "Lost in the 50s" car club and is limited to 1973 and earlier cars.

I didn't know that you were aware of the Lorton Station meet. I have been wanting to roll down there and check that one out.

Charlie, I have been there twice with my Mustang and there seems to be a nice mix of Muscle Cars and older Rods & Customs. A good friend of mine has a 41' Willys Gasser that he takes down there regularly. We should make a showing in the MMs if the Skins are away... - C
