TCE SS Brake Line Kit

Hey all,

Am upgrading the Marauder with Powerslot Rotors and Hawk HP Pads. I'm thinking about adding SS brake lines as well. I understand TCE makes a kit that includes everything you need for the front and rear for around $155.

Questions:

Does the kit include everything needed?

Do the SS lines make a difference in braking?

Yes everything is included, it will improve petal feel and stop the brake lines from balloning like the stock lines do. I know someone will chime in with a better explanation but bottom line they are well worth the money.

I'm running that exact combination right now. Follow the instructions for the "bedding process" on the brakepads and adjust the bends on the SS lines with all 4 tires on the ground.

When your done it will stop on a dime and the spongy pedal will be a thing of the past. Todd supplies EVERYTHING!

**this is only my opinion**

I think I will be ordering the SS brake line kit from TCE because the brakes are on the list to get done this spring/summer.

My current plan is to run the NAPA Reactive One rotors front & rear with CerameX pads all around.

I have been sitting on mine for a long time. I need to get this done before this summer, if it ever comes.

If you can't do the big brake upgrade this is the next best thing for your MM's brakes.

i ordered mine and they arrived a few days ago. They'll get installed in a week or so with the Powerslot Rotors and Hawk HP Pads. Also doing the tune and 4:10s at the same time. Can't wait

Did the BBK front and rear, just waiting for Todd to get it done and send the kits to Dennis so my MM can head on the way home back to Chicago. Its been verified that the $$$ was well spent.

Seems a few kits may have been inadvertently sent out without the retaining clips to secure the hose end to the bracket. They are not noted on the 'parts list' with the kits.

Locally any NAPA has them under pn 80742 for about a buck each.

If you cannot find them or not in a hurry just let me know and I'll mail you four of them.

Sorry for the inconvenience. I'll change the sheet also....
