I recently purchased an Impala and I'm so used to putting 93 in the Marauder I accidentally filled up the Imp tank with 93 (was told to use 87)..... What issues will this cause? The car has not been driven since. I'm assuming I will have get the gas tank drained?.... I have no idea, just asking.

Please no sarcastic responses
I will appreciate the helpful answers.

On the impala 93 increases horsepower to nascar specs. Stickers even add more

Only bad thing was you wasted a bit on the more expensive fuel.

They are worrying you for nothing. Plus, they are saying it backwards.

With gas prices so low, there is almost no reason to use low grade gas in anything.

Higher than recommended octane won't do any damage. Lower than recommended octane could cause damage.

And if you Impala is the old lt1 I would be running premium

It's a 96' ..... please elaborate. I assumed they all came with the same motor

Go to the manuel and see what it calls for, good if the person you bought it from would disclose the octane rating they used. I don't know if the 94 SS had the same LT 1 as the 96 SS Did..

They all had the same LT1. Even the Caprice. I always ran premium in my 96 and the 94 Caprice. 94-95 had steering column shifter. 96 had the shifter in the floor. As Marty said, cheap as gas is, just run premium

What channels does your Impala get with that DirectTV dish?

Can't stop the signal...

We don't even have 87 over here, lowest you can buy is 95.

Nice Impala by the way, I would love one in my stable as well if only car ownership wasn't so expensive here and I still have my project car sitting in the shed.

Nice Impy! Glad its a 96 with the nice gauges and the floor shift. I had a 95 DCM for a few years loved it and hated it. I had to put 3 opti sparks in my 60K mile car. That got old real quick!

Most likely the car will run better and the fuel MPG will increase = all good.
Should run it in that car anyway. Put 87 in the new crappy FWD Imps.

Smh
That satellite is an eyesore.

So is the power antenna on the Impala. I have to remove or disable it asap.
The deal was too good I had to snatch it up ..... Marauder wont be getting boosted now ... but I'm cool with that.

WOW!

Nice Set!

Never thought that a Marauder could make a Impala SS look kinda small.

I just found my reason to move to Germany. I bet it doesn't have deathanol in it either.
