2016 Mercury Marauder Calendar?

Does anyone know if anyone is producing a color 12-month 2016 Mercury Marauder wall calendar?

Think it would be something cool to hang in the garage.

How much would you be asking? Would you be able to make it a full-size wall calendar?

Places like FedEx Kinkos can make custom calendars for you with your own pictures. You can do it online or bring in a thumb drive with the pics.

I did this with family photos as a gift one year but hadn't really thought about Marauder calendar. I think mostly because I've got thousands of pictures and too hard to narrow down to just 12 (or 16 if you get one of those extra month calendars).

I have been considering taking this on before as a personal project. Making a high quality, Marauder collection of photos myself. I already have a handful of good ones(these are all my work, so please keep that in mind before sharing/using elsewhere....):

and thats just a handful. Who would be interested? You would potentially be helping support my career(Im always looking to build my portfolio, and this is something I truly enjoy doing) I would need the help of some of the local bay area members, so we could book shoots and make sure to gets good shots of all flavors, Black-SB-DTR-DBR.

But definitely could have something made in the next month or so. BTW im currently finishing up editing the footage from the Marauder Parade in July, you guys are gonna love it! Happy New year :beer:

These photos all look great. I was also thinking if members want to submit their photos of their personal ride to whoever may want to do it, the calendar can have one Marauder per month in different angles. I think we should make sure we include all four colors throughout the calendar.

Yes if I were to do it. I was going to ask people for some of the're favorite pictures of a marauder. And go from there. Or just search for the "marauder of the month" back when we did it and take them photos. But I don't remember if it went for a full year or not.

Why not ask for pics then put them up for a vote, and yes people will vote there own but hopefully the quality of the pic will win it! And the cover handful for fun. :) Some asked for pics along time ago for this but never happened.

Someone who has a basic background in photography needs to head this up and cull through all photos submitted. For instance (no offense meant), the first photo attached above has a "pole" sprouting from the truck of the car AND another cars roof eclipsing the black roof of the subject Marauder. Further, the lighting on the subject view side of the car is weak and devoid of texture/contact (bad lighting).

Another issue is that to attach them to this site we have to "reduce" the quality (photo content) of the photo. Hence we would need to email the "large file" or high res photos individually via email. Also many photos will probably have to be cropped, etc.

Perhaps whomever decides to do this can make two different calendars (24) photos and we can pick and purchase whichever one we want(?).

I have an super expensive "true color" high res art computer monitor... It helps view photographs, so I will offer to help we'd though submitted photos.

I am sure many members have some fantastic photos for the calendar maker volunteer to cull through. I attached a few good ones (as did many others) in the MXVIII photo thread. Marauderjack and many others (I have seen) have some real artistic photographic talent... And some magazine quality photos, So who wants to start heading this up? Again, I volunteer to assist if someone wants help.

Hood is a Classglass and is 2 1/2". They also have a 4" cowl and a power bulge style. Check their web page for details.

What would be your selling price for a 12 month calendar if you could produce it?

We did a Canadian Marauders Calendar a few years back and it turned out really well. Wasn't at all expensive, either. Of course, with 10x the Marauders in the USA, it might be a bit trickier picking which photos to use. For ours, I think we may even have used one car more than once! It was a fun project, though, and I recommend doing it.
