Yep, that time of the year again. Adding on one more year of ownership of my 64 Galaxie. Mileage: 218,265.
Is it just me, or are these years passing quicker? Could it really have been 1969 when I bought this car? The big 50 is not that far away. Both of us are still chugging along. She was missing for a while, but a new distributor corrected that issue.
Also had an issue with the new regulator. GEN light came on, and, eventually, wouldn't go out regardless of the RPMs.
So, my buddy/mechanic filed and adjusted the regulator points, and that solved the problem
Picked up three additional car show trophies, two "best 30" and one "topless gem". No more room in the trophy closet.
