Tachometer Broken

Greetings all and Happy New Year!!
My issue regards my Tachometer. It is not working. Showing very little RPM other than at acceleration. Then back down to below 1k when it should be 2k+ driving at highway speed.

Very similar to the issue my Ford Taurus is having.

Is this a sensor issue or an instrumentation panel issue.

It's a tach. issue. When it does it, rap the dash on the front edge right above it and see if it starts working. I hit mine about 4-5 times a week.. ;)

To bad no direct fix. An open search of the internet / YouTube provides next to nothing regarding Tachometers in general.

If you willing to send me the cluster and pay for shipping both ways I'll take a look at it and attempt a fix.
