Another Korean navel flick from Net-Flix. Different period than my last review, 1500's.

"The Admiral" is about a man who rallies his defeated navy and saves his country. Lot's of chop socky but tidbits of wisdom and strategy abound. The costumes, alone, are worth the price of admission.

Don't know what it is about Korean flicks but they seem to have the power to drop you to your knees, bawling, and then fling you to the highest pinnacles of victory.

Check it out.

That movie was really good. Check out 국제시장 - Ode to my father. It follows one man's life/family after the Korean war. I ̶c̶r̶i̶e̶d̶ ̶l̶i̶k̶e̶ ̶a̶ ̶l̶i̶t̶t̶l̶e̶ ̶g̶i̶r̶l̶ watched in with a stern expression watching this movie, but it was a good movie to see how it was for Korea after the war.
