Long story short.

My wife's girlfriend had to back out of a trip they had planned to Vegas so I'm in. :woohoo:

Please toss out ideas of what to do.

We have done the Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam, and Red Rock Canyon adventures.

Any other ideas would be appreciated:beatnik:

When we went to the Counts Bar and Grill for Marauderville it was a major dive, I wouldn't recommend it. I could have been nice in the past but no longer. His museum was awesome, however.

I like the Hofbrauhaus in Vegas and it is kind of close to the strip, The Yard House is great food and drinks as well and is right around the corner from the Shelby Museum. If you go North of the strip you can go to the raceway and race exotics. There is a ton to do, just depends on what you want to spend!

Lawrys prim rib is beyond. And the buffet at Caesars. Take a tour of the Wynn casino. Walk the strip at night and get a good view of the fire and water show. For the fire show stay at the valet area you can feel the heat

I have been hitting Vegas for the last 30+ years. Just got back 2 weeks ago. Go to the speedway and drive a super car on the track. There are 2 different companys that do it and both are in the infield. Hang out at Nellis AF base parking lot and watch bad ass jets.
Too many restaurants to mention and most are very good.
Old town Vegas is cool in it's own raunchy way.

Where are you staying? MGM casino is nice but I give the hotel a zero out of 10.

Last time I went, spent $7700.00, got a private room upstairs for $500.00 an hour, also had to order off the wine list. Too drunk to drive home, received a ride in their limo.

Some wives are down for that. It isn't like you're taking a stripper home. They're too busy studying for their law degree. Spearmint Rhino is also my favorite, with or without a lady companion, and I've visited for far less than $7700!

Yardhouse has okay food but an awesome beer selection. It's a fairly large chain so maybe you've already been to one closer to you. I don't think it's worth a special visit.

I second Hofbrauhaus but only on a Saturday night when they have drinking games. Very entertaining to take part in or just watch. It is across from Hard Rock.

I've been to the mob museum. It was interesting and takes a few hours to go through. I wasn't disappointed.

I like old school games & there is a pinball museum where you can play them. It was cool to see the old stuff. Not always in the greatest working order but fun for an hour or so. It is also somewhat near the Hard Rock.

If adventure is your thing there is indoor skydiving & zip lining. I'd avoid that overpriced downtown monstrosity & take a drive to one of the out of town zip line locations in the mountains. Much better experience.

Do the "Drag Queen" for a day. They dress you up and capture vids from cameras all over LV.
Fun to watch people's reaction. Especially when you go to Mardi Gras at the Vegas Quarter and you ask for beads!

Another fun thing is Guerrilla in the Room. You put on the Guerrilla outfit and the room is filled with different scenes. I like the Tarzan save Jane one the best. They put it all on vid!

Vegas is the Adult Disney World.

Red rock canyon drive
Mt. Charleston (this was amazing)
Fremont St. (twice)

Amongst driving around town just to do it.
Plenty of homeless people who seem content (don't understand, but maybe they see it as less stress)

No strip clubs fellas, I'd rather buy marauder parts :D

And I kept my losses to under $8.00 :2thumbs: $6.70 to be exact
