I saw some pics of north wildwood being flooded pretty bad. For the NJ boys how bad is it? I "vacation" there every year.

All I've seen is the news.

Looks like the shore, with high tides, has gotten some flooding.

Maywood, Bergen County NJ

I have 22 inches in my front yard. The driveway has a few inches less as the wind tunnel effect between the houses kept the snow blowing. My Explorer has almost no snow on it as it was all blowing off.

30 inches in Northern Virginia. Lots of drifting. Side streets impassable. Not looking forward to digging out today. Probably won't get done until tomorrow. Makes no difference since the streets in the neighborhood are a mess.

Not enough to cover the grass and the high will be 40 today getting to the mid 50's by Tuesday.

Charlotte got 1-3 inches depending on where you are --grass covered--roads were covered but thawed yesterday--still some ice and black ice around---roads mostly clear and warmer today for more thawing---

Got 4"-5" of snow & here. All main road had been cleared by last evening. Side roads have not been plowed. Sc***** & cleaned the snow/ice off the windows of the Marauder & the DD, as well as started their engines.

29+ Inches at BWI, which is about 3 miles from our house.
New record for snowfall!

Did some creative parking in the driveway on Friday afternoon to lessen the shoveling work:

Global warming.. Global warming, indeed (http://www.cnn.com/2016/01/20/us/noaa-2015-warmest-year).

(Then again, I tend to get my climate change information from scientists and actual data, not politicians and science deniers.)

New record for snowfall! Got several pictures from a friend in Ellicott City that tell the same story, Joe. F-150 almost completely buried, Jeep Liberty completely unrecognizable under a snow mound. Word from Howard County (per their Facebook page) is that the side streets won't be plowed for another 2-3 days!!! Never thought I'd celebrate ODOT, but we're definitely equipped for snow of this magnitude.

Got about 14 inches in Smyrna. After snowblowing/shoveling the driveway, I fall going to move the Black Marauder back in the driveway and reinjured the reconstructed knee. It appears to be ok but is tender. To top it off I chip a tooth while watching the game eating Munch n Crunch. This has not been my day.....:violin::banghead:

JEEZ!

Just like our government and politicians, even the Washington DC weather folks CANNOT get it right.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/capital-weather-gang/wp/2016/01/24/paltry-national-airport-snowfall-total-raises-questions-about-observing-standards/

The only thing that they are accurate about .....
is measuring how deep they can stack, then lose our tax dollars! .....:shake:

In the past I would be so happy to go drive around in 20" of snow in my lifted F-250 Super Duty. I pull dozens of people out of the ditch every year. (well, I used to) Now that I'm in a Marauder, I'm kinda glad it has passed us by so far this year. We haven't had more than 3" at a time yet this year.

After two good 8-hour days the driveway is finally clear and all 3 cars are free. The street in front of my place is pretty good up to to main road at the top of the hill. Not far below my driveway, the road turns to crap and only a one narrow lane gets by all the way down to the Cul-de-Sac. They really need the plow to come back and widen that part a lot. Main roads are in good shape but freezes up after dark when the sun goes down and temps drop back into the teens.

Same here--but now is the time for having a lot of reserve window washer fluid--cause the run off causes a ton of water spray
when going anywhere from others ---you will be surprised low(much) you use!!
