Hello All !
Well, I have run across an 03 on a consignment sale with a price of 26,500 USD. This car is extremely clean with 16,373 miles on it. Now, its in a lot full of Mercedes < how cool is that ? > and I can tell after crawling around it and over it that it was in a garage up until present. The factory tabs and stickers on parts are still there as well as wax pencil marks made during assembly.
Here is my thought : On a retail sale its only 23,3 on Edmunds and 25,7 on KBB. I am going to do this as a cash deal....Orrrrrr, do my cash deal for a new one verrrry shortly. Would rather save some jingle but what the hey..
I do want some thoughts from all of you ...this forum has been a greathelp and guide for myself and I do respect all that is said on this...
Thanks again all and I hope to seeyazz on the SE end of Route 95 ! :co

Something to consider is, what you can buy a brand new 04' for. I believe a member posted a price of $28,500 for new 04'.

I believe you should be able to buy the 03' in the low 20's.

I have been playing with the LM dealers here in the SE and the best I have been able to get a new 04 MM on a cash deal has only been a flat, out the door 25k...Thats kind of why I am at a fork in the road...

16000 miles? I'd be paying no more than $23k on that car, and that's on the high side of reasonability. $26.5k? I paid less than that for my 0 mile Marauder, brand new.

My friend just bought a brand new 2003 (left over) on Maui (Blue with light flint) for under $26,000 OTD.... Black w/16k thats high.... I'd be thinking $21.5 or $22K or if you are in love with it, as Logan said... no more than 23K (and if I were trying to sell it, I'd sell it FAST for 23K)....:)

Aleighty then...so far it seemsto be unanimous that I should go with a high side of 23k and a low of 20k ( ? ) ...thats about cool for me....will see what
all is said for input until COB on Monday...
Thankee all verrily muchly so far !

HiYazz All !
Welcome to the first Monday of the week ! < Arrrgh >
Anyway, stopped back down to the Mercedes lot to see what was going on and talk some business...needless to say, the gentleman there was firm on the 26.5k for the car...As I decided to leave I reminded him that I was hoping to do a cash deal. Guess his memory jogged and he blurted out a
number.... 25k !!! Needless to say, I kept walking !
