Congrats!
A perfect car for your wife!
Great job, I am sure she is over the moon, and ecstatic about it.
You deserve it, and so does she! Also congrats on the promotion at work... Obviously you deserved that too!

Lol I haven't checked but I had it brought from our livermore store, like I said I got a smoking deal on it and figured she'd love it so went for it and couldn't be happier. Gave it a full detail today since we got it delivered super late at night and we didn't have time to give it a full sold detail. And bam there she is lol

Congrats on your purchase. I am looking at the same car for my daughter along with the rav4. Would buy something else but Toyota is the only manufacturer I can find that has the least problems that they will fix. Driving a rock solid 4RUNNER myself.

Toyota won for the first time at Daytona yesterday. "Win on Sunday, sell on Monday." still holds true then?
My first wife traded "my" '80 Pontiac Grand Am on a Camry after our divorce. She'd wanted the Grand Am as part of our settlement agreement. So, please pardon me for not congratulating you on your purchase . . .

I rented a black 2016 Camry two weeks ago to drive from Louisville, KY to Ft. Lauderdale. 2,176 miles in all, and it cost me $105. in gas; plus the weekly rental fee $209.
But it sure didn't drive like the big Merc!
c.
PS - Next trip I will pay a bit more and get a Challenger or a Mustang.

I saw that....Great Race!
:hmmm:.....IIRC Toyota was using their tried and tested 350 CID pushrod smallblock engine that they have installed in.....uhmmmmm.....errrrrr.... how many production vehicles?
As far as the Camry,
I'll follow the old rule that my mother always espoused.

For it to be a perfect car for my wife, it would need to be smashed on 4 corners, 3 wheels curbed, back seat full of shoes, trunk full of purses and jackets, console full of gum wrappers and sunglasses. Plus, it would need to only get 8mpg, as that's how all her other cars ended up........

Give her a few weeks!!!
Come on guys. Great younger member, great young family, buying thier first or second new car--sharing it with his car friends... And these are the responses?
He works at a TOYOTA DEALERSHIP!!!!
Favian, great job. I know you got a smoking deal--and for family transportation in California, that is exactly what you want: Safety, Reliability, no service issues or repairs or headaches at all ; AND A HAPPY WIFE!
Drive it two to seven years, and sell it for big dollars (since you stole it at dealer prices). By then you should be running the service department...

I think it's just because we like to buy BIG AMERICAN CARS and would like to keep corporate profits in the U.S.A.

I believe Toyota is made in the USA, but yes, I concur, we like big American cars and trucks....

Yes, and he too loves big American cars, and owns an MM... Ya'll understood my point though right?
And I LOVED the comments about your wife's car. My wife and I got new cars 1 month apart 2.5 years ago. My car still looks and smells brand new new, no dings... Showroom clean...
My wife decided cleaning out her car was just too much work for her (I am talking about her finding all of her gold earrings and cash etc out of the car with me taking it to the car wash)... so she asked me to stop getting her car washed and vac'd and waxed etc...
Again my car like new...
Her car has serious "hobo-stank" and the boys won't ride in it.
