Had a bad night last night. First I was awakened by some horrible acid reflux about 4:30 am. As I tried to go back to bed about 5:00 am I was awakened this time by the sound of a car alarm. I knew it was mine so I jumped out of bed to look out my blinds to see a guy jump into the passenger side of a newer GMC Arcadia. I then went down to look at my car to see if anything was wrong. Lucky for me all was well except for the driver's mirror had been bumped outward. I took another look when I got to work and could see finger prints on the drivers door glass and the weather stripping at the top was a little out of place. I was able to put the stripping back in place. Can't believe someone was trying take my baby away from me. Glad it was parked under my bedroom window.

Did you contact the police? Are there any nearby businesses with security cameras that may have caught the GMC Arcadia's license plate as they were driving away?

Keep it close! So many people admire these cars, and would love to take our beauties away.

Careful, usually they try and come back a day, week, or three later.

I did contact the local police to let them know to look out for these guys. There are no cameras in the area around me.

Oh hell no do you have a aftermarket alarm if not look in to viper alarm systems . Back your marauder in and if you have a secondary vehicle use that to block the marauder in it's hard and more time-consuming to tow a car with locked tires . I have a bright yellow dual hook design steering wheel lock you have to cut the steering wheel twice in order to remove it which is more time-consuming and very tiring. It's also very visible from the windshield. The autobrake lock is the best but they won't know unless they break in the car . Also leave your secondary vehicle backed In facing the road so you can easily give chase or set up a camera in a way where hopefully you can get a license plate number. A tracking device from Brickhouse security can go weeks on a single charge. :mad2:

Set up some bright spot lights around the car. They love the dark

A member here also sales a disable remote that you have to have to start the car for less than $100. Everything helps.
For that reflux, start drinking 2 teaspoons of Apple Cider Vinegar mixed in water per day. You can thank me later

My 1996 Grand Marquis was stolen from a busy street.
The police found it outside a chop shop that wasn't shut down for another 7 years.
I knew it was in a chop shop because it was stripped clean, no screws or plastic rivets in the car.
Ever since I have security systems installed. I had a fake one installed in this car, a flashing red lite when the ignition was off. Obviously did not work.

I have a starter kill relay or fuel pump kill relay that works from a remote control key fob available. It can set it up so for manual activation it or for proximity activation.
