How do you gap the motorcraft SP433????It's a fine wire platinum electrode...Looks as if just touching the electrode with the guage blades would damage them....Their site says not to use the circular gapping tool..That would damage it...I think it's a fine wire platinum electrode with iridium base.....best way to gap them please????

I know that..My question is specific to fine wire and iridium....The electrode is so thin,it looks as if touching it with a either a wire type or blade type guage will damage it...

don't touch the iridium or fine wire tip..gap the electrode only per this

Use an NGK 4177 gapped at .045 and that will solve your problem gapping the iridium plugs.
