Like the title says, all spic and span now. Had been a few years since it was done last and always meant to get er done but it wasn't a front burner job. There was a modicum of gunk down by the trap door but it wasn't fully clogged. I was surprised on how much gunk was trapped in other areas though. Blew it all out with an air compressor and wiped the lower part of the windshield off while it was accessible.
It isn't a very hard job to do, maybe a 2 out of 5. My back isn't what it used to be so I work a little slower than when I was a youngin', I'm sure I'll feel it later. :geezer:
Definitely a good DYI job with basic tools most people have in the toolbox. Give yourself a few hours if you have never done it before. Takes about an hour once your familiar with the who, what, where, etc. Took me about an 1 1/2 not rushing. Also recommend using hand tools rather than power tools when reassembling as the plastic is brittle and you don't want to crack it buy over torquing.
Here is a good "How to do this job" write-up and I encourage you all to do this job periodically as it might save you from the "wacky-wipers" issue.:)
