So my coolant crossover tube is rotted out and i need a solution.
I saw the kit from On3 performance but i dont understand exactly how that works.
What happens to the coolant tube on the intake? And how do you route the lowers

If it's not leaking, clean it and paint with POR-15
No sense in replacing something that is not bad yet....and discontinued

It is leaking. The spout that the small tube goes from the intake, sprung a pin hole. I cut the spout off and welded it up and t-ed into the heater instead. But the unit as a whole is rotting

How do you clean off the crossover tube once it has started to rust? I'll be needing to do the same before mine starts to leak.

It got overheated. There is a sealant where the nipple connects to the tube. If not TIG'd a small distance away, then leaky leaky. Same goes for the two sensor ports and the one that leads to the thermostat.
I know of a COT that someone had the same issue and JB weld stopped it dead and has held up four years now.

There seems to be a lot of different products made by POR-15, including several that appear to be appropriate for this application. Unless there's a kit you have in mind that is perfect for this.

I saw a comment in another thread that the lower radiator hose gets directed straight to the block, with the little bit still there running to the reservoir. It was mentioned to use a Mustang GT hose for that, but a year wasn't given, so I'm guessing '03-'04 Mustang GT for that.

Seeing you have this kit, maybe you can answer some questions some people have. What was done about some of the other coolant lines? What was used for the lower radiator hose, and how is the heater core hooked up? Also, what about the line that connects to the upper intake? I don't think you have it, given the supercharger, but maybe you know what's done about it, perhaps?

I'm almost positive that I was one of the the first ones, if not, the first one to install this on a Marauder. I bought an incomplete Trilogy kit that was missing the crossover pipe and Trilogy offered to sell me the pipe for $1000! Going with this kit was a no brainer for me.
For the lower radiator hose, I cut it back about a foot away from the engine block, stuffed a 3 inch long piece of copper pipe that fit snuggly inside the hose, and bought a flexible radiator hose. I used the copper pipe as a coupler with some hose clamps and connected the flexible hose directly to the engine block.
https://ww2.gates.com/common/images/Europe/ezlit/Vulco-Flex-II-radiator-hose.jpg
For the heater core, I did the rear head cooling mod, merged the two outputs from the rear heads together with a tee connector, and ran that output directly into the input of the heater core.

Personally, I love how it looks. I tried to make my hoses, lines and wires look as factory/plain as possible, and I think I succeeded. The only real downfall of this system is filling cooling system with fluid and getting the air out is now a pain because there is now no fill cap anywhere in the system, but that has yet to be an issue for me.
I believe I may have 2 stock crossover pipes laying around in my garage, but they are buried so deeply, that I have no interest in digging them up to sell. One of them, the square hole on the fill cap is stripped, and the other was very poorly powder coated silver and is flaking.

Busted, Elio is my wait.
I guess I should just give stuff away then....
The fill cap is the overflow bottle.
And when the thermostat is at the highest point in the system, there is no longer a need to purge the air out of the system

Follow the rear one to the back of the intake and cap it off. Then just simply ditch the front one.

I thought the floor mats were a thank you , for finding a buyer for your buddies '04 SB.
You may remember, the 70 year old fellow that drove hundreds of miles with a cashier's check for 18000 and drove it home.
My car hasn't been in service for three years, so the mats are still almost like new.
With the exception of the rubber had dried out and the little nibbies were falling off when I received them.
If you are hard up for more hoardings,
I'll gladly give them back for 500

They were a thank you, from me, not the seller, and I fit your description of those overcharging for parts. How can that be?
I remember vividly the buyer of the car, as well as the rough turns in his life that he described to us, when I talk to Todd, we still talk about him to this day, great guy, but had so many unfortunate turns in his life.
I still have nib mats, no need for any more. My point was.... Even though many are hoarders, and occasionally they sell parts for what seems like a lot of money, many of us do pay it forward to others. Painting everyone with the same brush is unfair.
Now I can think of a couple that are highly respected members that have drug some members through the coals with some bad deals. But everyone still loves those guys..... Go figure.

I helped out a local , he just got his Marauder from a co-worker.
Turns out, it needed lots of work!
Whole timing set, W/P, and crossover pipe, Etc.
He already sourced a used pipe as many saw in his thread.
Evidently he did not have faith in repairing said pipe.
I offered to meet him half way with the part, that must be his only vehicle because he was not able to .
I guess I know better, what it feels like to be without a means, to get my Marauder fixed.
I sold something too cheap and you give away something to me worth even more?
So what if I did the same as you and gifted him the part?
Is that not what you did for me?
If you remember, I messaged you about selling them when you gifted them to me.
I needed the money because I blew my motor at Union Grove.
Out of respect and admiration for you I just shelved them.
You asked me politely not to sell them , and that's fine!
Just be willing to use the same unit of measure , you hold me to .

You can do what you like with those floormats, they are yours, sell them, burn them, use them for place mats on your table.
I have more sympathy for someone who blew their motor up driving as opposed to someone who blew the motor in their "toy" drag racing it. If you can't afford to fix it, don't beat on it. That's the measure I hold myself too, I pay to play, I don't want sympathy, admiration, or even lunch.

Maybe on a Marauder but not on a Panther. Pretty sure I hold that distinction and IIRC, I both bought one of these the day they came out. Zack bought his same day or day after. In fact we bought ours before On3 even made these, they were made by modularspeed (Kelly) on modularfords.com
Another massacre first lmfao
I do have a bunch of crossovers, some customized. I will likely smash them to bits or just melt them down with a torch. I might save 5 of them to give to the 5 ppl in this community that I actually like. The others will be destroyed.

Think that was back around April 2012. I also picked up one of ModularSpeed's kits at that time. Believe he only made 10 of them or so, at least at that time (he could have made more subsequent to that). Never got around to installing it and it got sold with my complete eaton swap kit when I had to liquidate some assets...

Sorry for my confusion but doesn't the on3 kit replace the COT and the need for a reverse cooling kit? I have a reverse cooling kit sitting around that I forgot to give to Chris for my rebuild. After breaking the engine down there was no visible issues with over heated cylinders.
I too like the look of the on3 kit but that's not a priority right now but if I do it I'd like to do all that should be done. Question is then would I need the on3 and do a reverse cooling kit. I'd prefer not to have to take the engine out again to add a colling kit.
i just bought one new for $42 plus shipping. I got very lucky!
