I saw this Marauder at a junkyard yesterday. Yes I grabbed one good part left.

Also, I broke a winter wheel last night and someone turned it into a meme already.

I stripped about 90% of that car, got there the afternoon it was set only things missing at the time were the console gauges/pod and the rear spoiler.

I took a door trim also the other were bubbled

Is the shortblock good? Heads good?

If that was in my junk yard I'd pick that motor out, parting out all the small Engine pieces would pay for spare heads and a short block

Judging by the way that the power steering pump is peeled back, I'd bet that the block is toast.
On the up side, degreeing the cams is now much easier...:D

OMG that infuriates me!!! I thought I escaped that wannabe crap when I sold my '95 SHO in 2005. You couldn't go 10 threads in the SHO Forums without "Hey guys, my grandma died and left me her baby blue 92 Taurus GL.... will SHO bumpers and seats fit?"

Only things I'm planning to keep or use are the exhaust tips and the rear fascia and taillights. Everything else will be sold or just held onto. I have no desire to make a clone, with how many cheap marauders show up around me I'd buy the real thing.

Drive shaft
Door moldings
Fuel pump driver
PCM and key with that key reader. And the plastics that go around the key, they vary from column shift cars. Airbag PCM that matches main PCM

Man there's a lot of small parts that are tough to find for these cars

Plus all the other goodies

I'll get some pics to you. Car was a rollover so outside trim and panels were pretty trashed. Motor and trans looked good, car only had 125k miles. Lots of small stuff was left. Probably go back and grab some of it

Found another marauder in the junkyard today, 2004 black, no moonroof. Whole car was pretty much stripped when I found it, was able to pick up the climate control, gauge pod mounting bracket, subwoof assembly, jack pouch, front door panels, and the steering wheel. Everything else marauder specific was pretty much gone, car had no body damage so not sure why it was junked.

Thanks for your help, I've been keeping my eye out for a front bumper and a header panel for 5 years now. It was a bummer to see the car so quickly dismantled when I got there but a huge relief to see a friend and a fellow Marauder owner getting parts. I would have liked to taken more but I only needed a few items and ran out of time.

Neither of us had our saw with us, went back today but someone else beat me to the megs tips.

Sad thing is the car was mint, really mint. They told me the only reason the car was there was a slipping trans and the old man just decided to donate it. The car was driven into the lot. UGH :eek:
