Ok, so I have a hitch-mount cargo rack I use on my Buick. The problem is that it sits so low on that car that it hits the ground and the exhaust blows right onto the cargo. So I'm getting a hitch adapter to raise it up, but it leaves me in a conundrum. This now will put the cargo in the way of the rear external lighting.
So, I want to mount some external lighting onto the rack that gets powered by the standard 4-pin trailer connector, but I'm having trouble finding stuff that looks like it will properly fill in for tirn signals, taillights, and reverse lights, and that I could properly wire to that connector. I have a maximum non-curved width of about 48" to work with, but most of what I've seen that would be perfect is at least 60" (the rest was only 12" and the descriptions of what lights theybhad were vague). Has anyone seen some good lighting products that could fit the bill?
