My drivers seat has rips at 2 of the seams.
I was thinking about having it repaired and changing the seat cushion
at the same time (after 11 years and 193,000 miles).
The price is outrageous. $706.43

I did a google search and the passenger side still seems available. Its the driver side that I think people can't find.

The cushion should be fine it just needs to be reinforced.
The front seat bottoms were the very first thing I had repaired when I bought My MM. What happens is the cushion starts to rip on the underside where the springs are then it seeps down into them and along the side mainly closest to the door. If the cushion isn't completely destroyed when taking it apart, You can save it and glue thin carpet or new cushion material on the whole underside to give it better structure on the springs so it can't seep down. Try that first maybe? Mine felt brand new once back together.

A auto upholstery shop should be able to remake very similar seat foam cushion.
WOW! I wish I could give so help here but is seems Ford parts doesn't want to make money except to build cars in other countries.:bandit:

The marauder and specific parts were swept under the rug pretty quick when sales ended slowly. I feel they a abandoned it very quickly

Seats get old, and they weren't the greatest from the factory. I had an upholstery mechanic rebuild mine (http://www.mercurymarauder.net/forums/showthread.php?t=91601) with 20% stiffer springs, canvas webbing over the wire hammock, and high-density foam with additional bolstering and new leather. This was just the bottom.
It was a huge improvement, firm and comfortable.

I fixed the picture hosting in the original post here: (http://www.mercurymarauder.net/forums/showthread.php?p=1387154#post1 387154)

Good guess. You can hardly even see an increase in the side bolstering. Probably because there isn't much :(
The seats are much more comfortable and supportive than stock, it was well worth the effort.

This^^
Despite the many decent factory parts still available for our cars, upholstery is not one of them. You don't really want to re-create Fords lesser quality foam, wire and spring supports and other upholstery techniques either.

What was the cost of the new seat?
The first post was indeed the passenger foam. Driver's is not available.
