Interior courtesy lights passenger door

When I open any door, the interior lights come on as normal. One exception is when I open the front passenger side door. Open the door, no lights come on. Anyone else have a fix for this issue?

Also, where is the door jamb switch that tells the car when the door is open or closed?

The door jamb switch is located ON the latch inside the door. Hardly a job for the average person. Replacement requires getting into the door and removing the latch to replace the switch. Sometimes spraying a little penetrating lube UP into the switch through the latch mechanism will alleviate the issue.
