Hey Guys,
My drilled and slotted TCE Wilwood rotors, no longer have the "slots" in them.... They seem to have worn off... after 8 years of Boosted use...
Are they still good, or need to be replaced? Too thin?
They have been very good to me, and will absolutely come back for another pair...
Thanks

Slot depth can vary..however a reduction of more than 10% would clearly need a refresh.
Meaning anything under 1.00" would be considered quite thin.
A net of 1.050" would still be serviceable. Keep in mind the harder they are used...the more mass you'd want to have. New 'rings' won't "brake better" but peace of mind from the durability end of things would urge you to side with caution. Also any cracks around the threaded bosses of the rotor would be a cause for concern.
