My climate control has quit working, now I thought replacing the O rings was to prevent this! Or am I mistaken.

Blower motor resistor
If you have no fan how do you know you have no heat or A/C?
Does the display on the EATC work and respond to inputs?

I have no tester! My display works fine I can adjust temp up or down but air temp coming out of vents does not change.

Tester is built into the EATC.... that's why it's called an EATC self-test. See my post #3 in this thread.
It sounds like the Blend Door Actuator. Running the EATC self-test will tell you exactly what the problem is.

All I get is a screen with this 888 and I can barely hear a clicking noise in dash.

That clicking noise is your shot blend door motor.

Try the test again.
Clicking sounds like the Blend Door Actuator is bad. Sometimes running the self test multiple times fixes the actuator for a while.

I will try that see how it goes.

Be sure to get a Motorcraft Blend Door Actuator. Cost is about $75.00. Aftermarket actuators have a tendency to stop working shortly after they are installed.

What if I just got the 888 with the functions all around
