I broke the connector on the fusebox side of the wire running from the positive battery terminal. I tried looking for just the connector but no luck. It is a 45 degree bend that hooks to the fuse box. I also tried my local ford dealer and they don't show the wire at all. Kinda ridiculous. Can someone help me find what I need?
Thanks

Try the junkyard basically every ford I've seen has that end on it. Not sure if you can chop the end and splice it on

I'll get a picture this evening of the broken end. I'm thinking the reason Ford doesn't show it is because it comes all as one item with the battery cable harness. The reason I'm changing is because I got a high performance alternator from Powerbastards.com. They highly recommended 0 gauge cable. Long story short I couldn't get the fuse box cable to reach and I planned on taking a longer one and put an end on it......

I did the same thing..Here's what I did....http://www.mercurymarauder.net/forums/showthread.php?t=83017 Read the whole thing...Post12 shows the problem...I got a second piece of metal and bolted the right angle with the cable connected to the other two pieces or tongues as I call them...Worked for years...

I can make you a "big 3 upgrade" for the wiring. IMHO 0 gauge is way overkill, 4 gauge is sufficient. What are you doing about protection?

You can still get these new OEM. There like 60 bucks for the whole harness. A little bit of a pain when your trying to fish it down to the starter but. At least it's new.

Just put a ring terminal on it and bend it to fit and be done with it. Or if you plan on adding electronics later do the big 3 upgrade. I used 0 awg on mine because I only wanted to do it once. 4 awg is sufficient. Pic shows overkill wiring and my battery is on the wrong side of the car.
