Hey James heres the story! I'll DEAL with Barry later. :shot:

First my uncles name was Patrick William Harmon. He was my GodFather. So I am also Patrick William. My whole famaliy is from the south side of Chicago. Other than us in TN everyone is still thier. So while Dad was in Vietnam ( 2 tours) he basically adopted me. Took me too all the Cubs games and hang out with him and Schnapps. His french Terrior. A strange dog!

Patrick William Harmon nickname was Uncle BUMBSY!. He was a Chicago Police Officer detective. And I used to sit on the back stoop and wait for him to come down the ally way in the black unmarked police car. When he did I would run down and wait by the garage door. I would slide both doors open then climb in the car. He would back in and turn on the police lights. And every now and then hit the siren tom piss off the neighbors. Then I would close the garage doors for him. Then it was supper time!

After I got the MM my brother and I were sitting back having a few after the rauder was waxed and he said that looks almost like Uncle Bumbsy car?? Thats the story behind Bumbsy. Not special to anyone, But to me, PRICELESS!

I was wondering where that came from too. It's great that your plate is a tibute to someone who meant so much to you. Kudos.
