Lately I have been flooded with emails from all kinds of advertisers. This is the only site that I can think of recently that I have signed up for using my email.

Anyone else having the same issues? Does this site sell emails?

I highly doubt it. I've never had a problem with this site regarding an email problem...

I just recently have been getting a bunch of spam emails that make it to my inbox instead of being filtered into the spam folder.

Maybe it something with the email. Do you have Yahoo??

It is possible that if you recently made a purchase online, that the company sold your email (if you gave it out) to other companies.

If you look at the bottom of some of the spam emails, there should be an "Unsubscribe" button. You can click to opt-out. There may also be the name of the company (or companies) that have been sending you the spam. You can investigate from there.

As I understand it this also tells the spammer this is a verifiable email address and then they can sell it for more money. Catch-22.

What Mr. Man said...NEVER hit the unsubscribe button unless it's from a reputable company.
