Loved the Evil Dead movies and Army of Darkness. The new TV show Ash vs Evil Dead started out good but not so happy with most of it now. Ash still rules though. I think the show should move into Ash vs Vampires, Ash vs Werewolf, etc. type of show is my idea.

What is the most fun you have had in your Marauder

Over the past 13 years, there have been many fun opportunities ... but if I had to name the most fun and most memorable, it would being running the high banks of Charlotte Motor Speedway (CMS) during Marauderville VIII (MV8) in September 2010 to celebrate my 60th birthday !!!.

Other fun highlights include:

-- Cruising Woodward Avenue during MV3/Woodward Dream Cruise (WDC) in August 2005 with 40 other Marauders and blocking Woodward to get back into the Burger King Lot.

-- Police escorted convoys during both of my trips to the annual Louisville, KY meet in 2008 and again in 2009

-- Multi-jurisdiction police escorted convoy during Marauderville IX (MV9) from the Civil War Museum to AACA Museum in Hershey, PA

-- Leading a convoy of 20 Marauders along Skyline Drive in Virginia during Marauderville V (MV5) in August 2007

-- Laps at the Brickyard -- Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS) during Marauderville VII (MV7) in October 2009

-- Roscoe's Cruise during Marauderville X (MV10) in South Haven, MI in October 2012.

-- Drag Racing at Mason-Dixon Dragway, Hagerstown, MD in October 2004

-- Running the 9 mile Roller Coaster road PA34/94 between York Springs and Carlisle, PA each year to and from the Carlisle All Ford Nationals.

-- The high speed convoy on the Twisty Road to Metamora, IN during Marauderville VII (MV7)

There's probably many more; but those are off the top of my head.

Number 1 has to be PASS TIME, Number 2 would be Pinks All Out on the 4 wide at Charolette and finally Roscoes cruise.

After a major bump in the road ( DR ), doing a 10.7 @ 131 with a lot of help from other members on this site. PS : I hope to better that number soon.

After almost 35 years, there are way too many to name. Local car shows, long distance car shows, drag racing, road racing, rallies, driving from CA to MI in a complete wreck of a car, meeting Steve Babcock and Kevin Lambert. The list goes on and on.

I'm noticing a pattern here, everything involves the good friends that we have because of this site. And a lot of non MM.net meeting up for dinner, concerts, etc.

A tie between the first time I ran 11.5 and being waived thru all the road blocks after Katrina.

I went on a Southern San Diego County road trip for photography, and was greeted by the Department of Homeland Protection, local sheriff, the highway patrol, and California department of corrections, and the border patrol. I asked my brother the cop why, and he said they just wanted to know who I was. Had great conversations with all of them. Of course I did park across from a low security prison where family dropped "stuff' off, but I did get that great shot of a 100 year old house in a field :)

Watching people put their cell phones down on the freeway is a kick too!

Practically totaled it but the most fun was actually the rebuild and paint job.

You guys did that MV XIII trip right !!! I regretted my decision not to make the Cross-Country trip when you all started posting pictures of all your adventures and stops along the way. Stretching the trip to 7-8 days took a more leisurely pace with lots of allowance for side trips, touring, and enjoying the sights. I tagged along with your group virtually by computer enjoying the photos and the stops along the way. The fun you guys had came through loud and clear and Bernie and I missed being a part of it !!

This weekend was doing a little road racing in the mountains and held off some Porsche's, I mean we were moving, my big 315s on the back really stuck, when we parted, I got thumbs up and hurrahs, now when does that happen from Porsche owners ...

My best experience was about 4 months ago. I was headed from New Orleans to the police station in D'Iberville, Mississippi to transport some evidence. There was two 18 wheelers side by side on the I-10 doing about 50mph. As soon as they opened up enough I shot the gap and nailed it to get around them while coming up an overpass. As soon as I got up to the top of the overpass there was a troop parked on the side. I looked down and seen I was doing 95. He had me there was nothing I could do. Apparently he thought I was 'one of them' and didn't come after me. Had I been in my harley truck or camaro I'm pretty sure I would have most likely gotten a warning or a ticket.

Not the first time. I'm used to getting peered upon quite often by law enforcement.

I had to visit the Mercedes dealer for some Hydraulic oil. Pulled into the lot with the Marauder. The attendant was hey that's a Marauder right? I never saw one in blue. Nice car. Can't be many of those?

It was nice getting attention surrounded by the "other" Merc's.

The Marauder start up where our cars caused alarms to go off in the casino parking lot... And the subsequent beautiful drive to the Bouldefr City and the DAM? Two lanes... The lake, and 29 Marauders.

My son and my Rt 66 drive...

Yeah, that looked like a lot of fun. I regret that I elected not to participate and gave up my slot so that Barry (CRUZTAKER) could take his car on the track. Just didn't feel like emptying my trunk for the event per the track rules. I stood on the sidelines and got plenty of pics between Turns 1 & 2. The folks who were running hard really laid on that driver's side front tire when going through Turn #2.
