The idea of actually buying a MM just became serious a few days ago and I'm concerned with insurance. Progressive online just quoted me over $8k a year! Screw that, I'm paying $1200 a year on my '99 CV LX HPP right now.
So, what are you paying. Please include your age also.

950 a year. 40 yrs old
$274.73/half= $549.46/yr. StateFarm, northern OH, 44 yrs old, wife 38 y.o., no children driving yet. (should make a big difference.) 100/300/50, $1000 deduct. multi-car discount. Not bad, considering I pay $241/half on my 1998 Contour SVT, same coverage. That's up from $188/half, when brand new. 99 F150 is only $232/half.

I use Allstate.. they dont know what the MM is. They rate it as a Grand Marquis and I pay 300 every 6 months 1000 deduct on collision and 500 comp. 25-50-25 for liability (state mins) 39 w/no tkts or accidents in DFW area. The Crown Vic and the Merc Marq are 2 of the lowest symbol rated cars in the insurance industry. By comparison.. My new SVT Cobra is double the above rate.
State Farm Mississippi My wife and I are both 43 yrs. old.
100/300/100 coverage with 1000/500 deductable.
I have 2 tickets.

Here in north of Phila. when I asked about rate for the marauder in Sept. they (Liberty Mutual) told it had a rate code different from the "other" big Merc. I asked for quote on both and it was only a $50. gap. (Marauder higher) For some reason it was cheaper than the '01 F-150 4X4 I traded in?? 52 years old kid.(just ask the wife).

$2109 per year, for both MM and '92 CV.
$500k/$500/$1m, Glass, Theft etc plus a rider so for 3 years my insurance covers full cost of MM, not depreciated.
35 years old, no accidents for 7 years no tickets for 5 years. Al through Alberta Motor Association insurance.
Many people here are really complaining about insurance rates. My GF's son is 17. He has a 1983 K car 2 door - barely runs. To put it on the road as a new driver, he'll have to shell out $12,000 per year. Twelve THOUSAND DOLLARS. That's just nuts!

1 ticket for the Mrs. We have had State Farm insurance forever. Cars, house, Sea-Doo.
We live in what is considered a "rural" area of Kansas City. It's not...... but I'm not going to argue. I also pay $688 a year for wifeys 12 mpg 1999 Suburban.

Anyone else living in the NY area and have Geico? I am getting hit for a 'performance surcharge' and wonder if anyone found a way around it with them. I called other providers and they do not list the MM as a performance vehice. Currently I am in the best category with them and they said there is nothing they can do.
Thanks,

Holy thread resurrection, over 12 years between posts.
I don't know the breakdown, but for 3 cars, full coverage, 500 deductible, married, over 35 years old, we pay 230 a month. That's on my wife's 2014 FJ Cruiser, my Marauder, and my Crown Vic Sport. All of our cars are paid off, and I know we each have one speeding ticket on our record, but both of those should fall off in the upcoming year.
$874.00 per year, full coverage. Comprehensive - no deductible, Collision - $250 deductible. Louisiana, one of the highest rates in the country. State Farm, multi-car discount.

LOL, dead thread!!! I think insurance is important now that these are MORE rare and collectible. I just got mine back and with Grundy and a $35,000 agreed value, 100/300 coverage, 500 deductible, towing and lodging I pay $469/year. I would have paid MORE if I added it to my existing State Farm policy.

Has grundy issued the policy yet? others here have had a hard time with grundy. Grundy saying the agreed value not valid etc.no enough evidence of parking in garage and have declined after the initial response was yes..It boils down to the underwriters

USAA----$508 yr full coverage with 250 deductible on collision and comp, no accidents or tickets in the last 23 years. We had the house and cars with State Farm for over 40 years until they dropped all home coverage in Florida and jacked the car premiums way up for no reason. Now, we wish we had changed to USAA (USAF vet) much sooner. Much more pleasant people to deal with and a whole lot cheaper.
Like a bad neighbor, State Farm is there! (to aggravate you)
If you can get into USAA, I would look into it.
