Participated in the Mustang Club open Car Show today.
Great turn out of 118 Cars. Complimentary coffee, donuts and Jambalaya.

The Dealer where it was held was founded by a guy my Father sold a boat to over 40+ years ago and I showed him how to operate it. The show was in memory of a Mustang Club member who recently died of cancer who I did business with 30+ years ago.

The 1930 and 1933 Ford Coupes are owned by a guy who was my neighbor 3 years ago, moved away and then back in the area. It truly is a small World.

My Mustang Club (www.GSRMC.org) held an ALL Ford show at Magarino Ford in Sussex NJ on April 17th. There were 217 cars on the show field. One of them was an actual AC Cobra. I took several of my Mustangs. My club runs the show, so none of our cars are in competition for any of the popular trophies (our club rule). The dealer chooses ten of the members cars for special trophies.
We are having another show at this dealership in September. This show is open to all brands. We are presently making the real piston trophies for this show. We give out trophies made from actual car pistons and welded rocker assembly parts. Go to our website to see the particulars and the trophies. You can even register on-line using PayPal.

April, YES! I am going to suggest we get on a Southern schedule.

At the show with the black top the heat was very intense.

One year, there was an MCA National Show in Atlanta. (same month & year as the Olympic games). We died!

August in Atlanta is a world changing experience.

The infield at Atlanta Motor speedway was over 100 degrees for four days. We bought multiple bottles of water (drank one, poured two over your head).

Why is he looking so intense at your battery??

Maybe he is from New York. If they see a hood up, they feel compelled to steal the battery.

I sure hope the "Sailmen's" finds this as humorous as I do.

I grew up in Brooklyn (Sheepshead Bay).

I'm not "dissing all New Yorkers", I'm just reporting what can happen with some people who don't respect boundaries.
