Saw the short version a few days ago. Guess he's got a new story he can tell while out drinking with the guys.

That's what happens when you don't do it on drag strip and do it on the infield of a circle track. Glad they are ok though.

This, as soon as he started to turn I said "this isn't gonna end well"
second, I lol'd when the safety guy asked Jay "whats your name" and he replies "My name is also Bob"-lol
Even after that crash he is still funny.

This wreck was set up 50 years ago in 1965 by the same guys who didn't understand that 2,500 HP and massive torque sitting directly over the rear axle would produce a wheel stander instead of a drag racer. They also obviously didn't understand that there was not enough room at Irwindale to set the front down and get the car slowed up before the banked turn. Live and learn ... Physics works !!
