I was browsing the July issue of MM & FF this evening when I came across Wheel Vintiques' ad on page 257.

They have a wheel called the "MaRodder" that looks somewhat similar to a Magnum 500, but with thinner spokes and a thin black line going through the length of the spoke. I tried to locate info on their website, but it's a bit out of date. I then called the business itself.

I spoke with a very helpful salesman (Tim or Ted... can't remember) who answered all of my questions confidently. He said they build the wheels in many sizes, including 17's. They come in widths of 7, 8, and 9.5. They will build them with whatever backspacing you need. I told him that it was for a Marauder and he laughed.

Turns out, Wheel Vintiques made the 18" Magnums that were on the Reinhart / PHP MM for the SEMA show. They were 8" wide up front and 9.5" wide out back. I was REALLY excited to hear all of this... until I heard the price: $445 each for the fronts and $460 each for the rears. So figure about $1850 for a set of BADASS Magnum 500's that'll set your MM off from the crowd AND accomodate 305 Drag Radials.

I didn't ask him about a pricing for the 17's. It sounded like the 18's were custom built pieces that cost a fortune. I'll call again tomorrow and see if the 17's are a bit less.

Is there still a pic of the Magnum 500's on a Marauder in the gallery?
Just curious what it looked like.

I see that Cervinis is selling a set of 18x8 Magnum wheels with tires for $2800.00 to fit the 2005+ mustangs.
I wonder what the backspacing/offset is? and if they'll sell them without the tires?
