I'm in Eatontown NJ on business and I need a reliable shop to do an oil change and maybe balance the front tires before I head back to Indiana - which needs to be either Friday or Saturday (i'd stay the extra day but the hotel is oversold for Friday night.

Any suggestions from area members would be appreciated. There's about 90K on this engine and I'd like to keep it going a while longer. The trip home is about 750 miles and there are maybe 6-7 K on the last Mobil 1 change.

Thanks!

Personally unless the tires are really out of balance I wait til I got home and have it done at my local shop. 750 miles more driving on what ever oil that's in your car isn't going to do any damage. Just make sure it filled correctly.

+1, you'd be at an 8,000 mile (or less) oil change interval on M1 synthetic, with all highway for the last 750 mi., still acceptable / within spec IMO.

I was gonna suggest the same thing. I have to pay for too much stuff these days now that I'm half cripple. I hate to pay for something easy I can do like an oil change.
