NEED HELP w/ NO START.... ALARM SYSTEM RELATED!
Re: my 2003 Marauder with 38k orig miles.
Engine wouldn't crank, for some reason today so I disconnected battery to check 30A start fuse thereby disrupting the alarm system. (mistake!). Installed a new starter but starter still won't engage. Cant find the switch or button to activate or any info in manual about resetting alarm / ign. cut out. Little red indicator on dash top is flashing(?)
Key chain module that arms or opens door locks doesn't seem to correct ign cut off problem.

For some reason I don't think you have an alarm issue,

After disconnecting the battery (or anytime it doesn't crank as it gets ginchy some times) you need to hold the reset button and then crank while holding button. After it starts the 1st time it will then operate like normal.

These don't have alarms. Some got the optional one supplied from Code Alarm but they have a siren. The light on the top of the dash is for the SecuriLock ignition and should be on SOLID when cranking. A rapid flash while attempting to start is a key fault.

There's nothing in the owner's manual because these cars didn't come with a factory-installed alarm system. It would have been installed either by the dealer or a previous owner. You have to find out what brand of alarm is there and see if there's an online manual.
As for the PATS light, what BAD MERC said above. When just sitting, the light will flash once every 2-3 seconds.

Dealer installed remote start "starter interrupt".
The 1st time I pulled + cable off battery = no crank when reconnected.
Freaked me out.
Took 30 min in a parking lot to figure it out.
LED & Reset Button under dash somewhere, you are at the mercy of where the install tech put it. Mine is hanging over top left edge of drivers kick panel.
Good luck.

Yep, lucky for me the supplement manual was in glove box which is how I figured out why it wouldn't start.

PATS - Passive Anti-Theft System, needs one of the "chipped" keys to start that are programmed for your car..as mentioned, could be a key issue.

Try using the key pad on the door to unlock it.

Thanks guys for your input. I wont find out anything until Monday since my service station 's electrical guru didn't make it in today and the shop closed with it inside!
For what its worth:
-tried my backup (factory) chip key ..Zilch
-tried armrest lock/unlock buttons... nada
-Being in my eighties with a new hip,and a half dozen old, serious Lumbar spine issues,it's not fun trying to find this tiny probably too well hidden " button"..so I pay for help. If it were one of my thirties Packards or Cords, etc.(which I should never have let go of) I'd consider some under dashboard tinkering, but today's cars are cramped and insanely complex..I love my Marauder however especially on highways..Not like my '41Custom Super Eight mind you,but unquestionably the best road car Ive ever had(or been in)!
Again I appreciate all your responses..and I have to think how much the internet would have helped back in '58 when I couldn't figure out the problem I was having with the push buttons on my '56 Caribbean trans.

-Being in my eighties...I hear ya...I'm only 60 and some days crawling under/over/in/on my cars is just the pits.
Rock on, pops!
Mine was a dead fuse in the fusebox in the engine compartment. It was a pink color. Forget which one. Try swapping fuse with another of the same color.
