new daily driver

I came across a 2008 mercury grand marquis LS, black exterior, black leather interior. Power seats, heated, rear air suspension, remote start. Premium audio package. 13,800 miles on it! Paint on hood has some marks but overall pretty clean.

It has 16" wheels brand new tires, a/c compressor, fresh trans flush, fuel filter.

Just changed oil with M1 0-30, seafoamed it. Has 2.79 rear axle ratio!
At 80 its at 1950 rpm - lol

Has single exhaust, looking to make her at least duals with a borla cat back exhaust kit, bolts on, this kit fits Marauders as well.

You have 2.73 gears which was standard, I changed mine out to 3.27's and limited slip which really woke the car up.

I had a 2008 GMQ as a DD as well! Recently traded it in on a new Silverado though.

Car also has power pedals, traction control , with open diff I think.

Its so quiet, and it floats, definately does not merge like the MM!

drove this too - 2012 SS 6 speed hurst short throw, Felt a lot like the old mustangs were you look out over the hood and third gear is freaking awesome...

I was smooth with it but I definitely made the sales person uncomfortable, went about 2k-4k in second and third floored. ha ha

Search Craigslist for a MM stock exhaust, there was one up that way not long ago. Usually less than 200 bucks with cats

oooh, I like this idea, except I have custom mid pipes. it would bolt up exactly to the MGM I didn't change the factory mounting locations but I'm hesitant to change it over - its a custom Magnaflow Tru-x muffled X pipe with mandrel stainless midpipes made up at muffler man in Canada.

i'll probably just get the magna flow cat back or the Borla catback for it and be done with it. ...and perhaps a tune from Marty-O just a mild tune for 89.

Nice find Babbage, especially with those miles. I bought a 09 MGM Limited for my daughter to use at the end of Feb. Big and safe for her 3.5 hr runs to college. No mods, she doesn't need them. The stealership sold me a 36/36K bumper to bumper Ford warranty for $1100. Since she is 3.5 hrs away I thought it was worth it. Enjoy your new DD.

Not a thing, just a bad battery and the steering shaft recall. I have a larger build list than what you have though.....

Unfortunately not. It was a deep tone and absolutely no drone. CNGInterceptor heard it in person, he is on CVN more than here though

yes I have some 17 inch aluminum wheels with high-performance snows mounted on them already. Hankook ice cepter EVO's v rated..

I'd have to look and see when that expires, my marauder is a garage queen and it didn't need replaced, IIRC, that recall was not limited to a date, but rather a did the car have a new one or not kind of thing.
