Fellow Crown Vic member contacting me about doing a Jmod on his retired CVPI from Indiana with 98K on the odometer. He drove down from Nashville to the shop. The OEM pressure regulator valve had some minor scuffing/wear and the boost and OD servo regulator shuttle valve were both worn. Installed a new Tuff plate and drilled the plate;
hole 1- .160"
hole 2- .104"
hole 3- .180"
hole 4 & 5 - .113"
hole 6 - .160"
hole 7 - .093"
hole 8 not used
hole 9 &11 -.125"
hole 10 -.093"
Its important to open the hole in the gasket for hole #4, I use a hollow punch for this. All the worn shift valves were replaced with Sonnax shift valves. Valve body rebuilt and installed with new gaskets and Motorcraft filter. Transmission shifted perfectly,

How much are the shift valves for these cars?

Very nice write up!

the main 3 valves I replace are roughly $100. there are other valves that I replace, but those are done a case by case basis and not part of a normal Jmod/valve body rebuild
