Faulty door latches????
Let's see...first car with doors: Model T in 1909. So Ford's had 107 years to practice building door latches and they STILL can't get it right? WTF

Something to do with hot climates.
Plastic parts & connectors. Had to have all four door latches fixed on my 2012 Taurus SHO this year. The door handle cable is connected to the door latch with a plastic connector that snaps easily. The design is Penny-wise but Pound-foolish. The plastic connectors are just not as durable or strong enough to handle the stress like a metal connector. The same problem with the chickenshit plastic gear in our pedal adjusters.

It's called cost saving...... cheaper to make plastic parts........ make money now, deal with the problems later.........

Didn't say anything about old guys who continuously slam their doors though.:P
