To those that had crows feet corrected, what was your experience? How bad was it? Mine is just starting to show signs, so I am having it fixed over the winter while it's off the road. I would like some feedback, and if you have pics of the process that would be nice too (I am NOT DIY'ing this).

Thanks in advance

We shoot crows around here. The feet aren't worth eating so just toss them in the trash.

Gotta get a lot of them to make a meal, and they are salty tasting.....

Hi Kevin :)

Are you talking about the bad cracking paint ?
Only way to fix is to strip and repaint .

Just my own experience on my 03 Grand Marquis. Roof was chipping 37 months and 37,000 miles (in other words out of warranty). Had the hood, roof, trunk, and rear bumper stripped and repainted. On windshield and rear glass they just folded the rubber back and painted up to that point. Go several more years and the paint started chipping around back glass. Had the back glass taken out had the paint stripped around the window and had roof repainted. Several years later I had a fender bender and had to replace front bumper cover, hood, header panel, and left front fender so decided to have the whole car repainted, new headlights and corner lights, and new fake chrome strips replaced. Then after a little over a year the paint started chipping around the front window. Take it back to body shop and they said they would fix it but would split the cost with me. Wasn't any warranty on the whole paint because it had been painted before. Manager at the body shop slipped and said he didn't think it would start chipping so soon. Of course they said they would leave the window in. Haven't had it fixed yet, but will have the windshield removed, then paint stripped where the seal goes. hopefully that gets rid of all the bad paint.

Guess it depends on how bad it is, but if I had of known then what I know now I would have had the windshield and back glass removed originally so the bad paint under the seal would have been fixed. Just food for thought.

I started reading this & thought you were getting a little plastic work done on your eyes over the winter!!!

Figured it out when I got to "...while it's off the road".

Thanks for the laugh! :D
