Finally saw a real S55. What a machine. Love the early version of an airbag on that steering wheel. Other than wheel change the car is a low mileage survivor.

Excellent! I love it. 1967, the last year for an S-55, and the rarest of the bunch. There were only 570 of those built (hardtops). The 345 HP 428 Super Marauder engine was standard. This was the Mercury version of the 7-Litre Galaxie.

My 68-1/2 Fairlane Torino 428CJ was rated at 335 hp, with a 735 CFM Holley. Cast Iron Headers all from the factory.
I let this one get a way, as only a little more than 400 were built.
