So, I'm wanting to ditch the sealed beam lamps in my LTD for something better. However, the mounting brackets are too shallow for the conversion housings, and the universal bracket from Hella is too small. Won't fit the conversion housing, and too small to mount properly in the car.
I don't want to be hacking up the original brackets, but I can't seem to find an alternative. I did find something for 5.75" round lamps, but I'm not paying $100 for a single bracket. Any thoughts on what I can make work?
