Tomorrow is gonna be a very hard day for me, as 2 of my 3 combat deployments have been post 9/11. As a warrior, an American, and Christian, it has changed me. It will have been 15 years since the world changed. The world DID change. The 9/11 attacks were akin to the atomic bomb in the effect they will end up having on human history. America (and the world) has been through a lot with the resurgence of radical islamic terror... and it is far from over. As I have said from the beginning, this will be a multi-generational conflict that may lead to (and may even last after) the third world war.

The "end times" may be next week, or a thousand years from now, but the spread of radical islamic hatred has started us down the path. The vast difference in the collision of two very different worlds has left it's mark. With the exception of love, there is no greater motivation than hatred, and our enemy has had hatred bred into them since birth with religious fanaticism. They will NEVER give up.

Love your fellow man as much as you can, but please don't allow those who hate to gain control of the world. Trust in God, and call on him, but never forget that though he will give us the strength to face our problems, he will not fix them for us. For that, he gave us free will. He will test us, and we must do the work. America must stand strong together, or we will fall, as has every other great society. We cannot allow America to fall. America just happens to be the best hope the world has for a better future. We are hurting right now as a nation, yet we are still better, more giving, and more free, than any other nation that has ever existed on the planet.

I watched the Twin Towers built as a child and directly with my own two eyes hit by jets and fall. I watched people jump to their deaths to escape the flames fueled by the jets that hit and remained in the towers. Many things happened that day and I know what I LIVED. I watched in Bay Ridge Brooklyn people of Islamic faith celebrate in the streets protected by NYC police. I stopped to ask the police officer because I couldn't believe my eyes. Chanting! The world needs to wake up. People need to take ownership of what they do and say! The people who died went to work on 9/11/2001. They were not soldiers! They had no cause or religious belief to deserve their lives and families to change so terribly. Remember the people and the good which they gave to the world! Remember life is short. I feel some talk on this can't be made up - like all the air line jets were all most 32%-52% less filled that day when the plans hit the wtc ... No clue if it was a government plot, we certainly lost innocent citizens, and emergency responders. I lost a few friends that day, it took a few years to kill off some other friends from injuries sustained in the fallout.

It's hard to believe it's been 15 years since 911. In addition to the victims in the World Trade Center, 343 men and women of the New York Police Dept and Fire Dept gave their lives saving others. They were the heroes of that terrible day, they knew the risks and put themselves in harms way to save others.Next time you meet a police officer or fire fighter take the time to thank them for what they do! As a Canadian, 9/11 and everything that has happened since scares the **** out of me.

We has lost so many freedoms because of the attacks on that day. For me mostly I will always remember the great times i spent with my childhood friend that was killed in Afghanistan. It almost stops me dead in my tracks looking at what has changed in the US and Canada. I think to myself, my friend is dead... for what? so people can now have an iPhone 7 and start fighting with the police because they are black?

I'm so tired of everything that is going on, Our leaders are filling there pockets and there families pockets while the rest of us are just worker bee's trying to make sure our own families are taken care of.

I had an awesome weekend with my two brothers who were both on leave from the Marine Corps. A get-together like that hasn't happened for ten years. They are my heroes no matter their profession.
I remember vividly watching the first tower explode into dust. Chills instantly came across me as I somehow knew the other tower would have the same fate. I respect everything you are saying. Of course I can never forget about those who died. I personally think the greatest respect we can have for the victims is finding the truth and the full truth no matter how uncomfortable it makes me feel. There are so many who were interviewed who's important eye witness accounts were not aired (janitors and firemen who stated there were bombs exploding at ground level and throughout the building). Some of these folks traveled the country speaking about what they saw after they realized their account would never make it on air. (Maybe one thing we can agree on is who can trust anything told by a newscaster). Then we have not one body or piece of luggage found at the Pennsylvania crash site. How did CNN reporters find and meet with osama in his hideout a few weeks before and come back to tell us he was planning an attack only to have the event happen and osama saying he didn't know what is going on. When lies are covered up with more lies we drop and say oh ok thanks for explaining. The patriot act of 1,000 pages or so was ready to go before it all even happened. I do not consider someone to not be a patriot or good citizen because they take their faith in their government back. Look at the circus they are putting on for us now.
