Anyone from NYC remember this guy? His prices were INSANE! Well he corked off at 68. I shopped there (electronics store) quite a bit when I was a Brooklynite.

Yes, but just to clarify, the man in the photo is Jerry Carroll who did the commercials for Crazy Eddie.

I think he is still with us?

The year was 1980 spring NYC Avenue of the Americas Store W8th Street. I purchased my first real car stereo to replace the GM OEM radio for my 1979 L-82 Corvette. Still have the car with 14,000 original miles with the Jensen R-430 AM/FM cassette. Crazy Eddie didn't sell it to me but he approved the discount price match and helped me understand the value of a dollar. Sorry for the loss of a man who made crazy GREAT!

I remember the those(crazy)commercials but I used buy my electronics on Delancey street.
